LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - There's only one place in central Arkansas this weekend where you can get your dog clean while helping protect our retired four-legged K-9 friends.

Hosted by the Little Rock Police K9 Association, officers and numerous volunteers will be washing dogs for donations and giving K9 demonstrations for the public.

All dogs and their owners are invited out to PetSmart on Financial Centre Parkway this Saturday, May 12th from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Little Rock Police K-9 Assocation.

The Little Rock Police K9 Association is a non-profit organization that was formed to assist in the care of retired police service dogs, provide additional training and equipment for police service dogs and their handlers, and furnish death benefits for the police canines.
