Chris Olsen from Botanica Gardens always has great advice on home and gardening projects.
This time he's talking about decorating for fall plus he's got a delicious recipe for grilled peppers.
First Segment: Grilled Rainbow Peppers
Pre-heat grill to about medium-high heat or oven to about 400 degrees. Quarter 3 bell peppers (use green, red, and yellow for fall colors): lightly coat with vegetable cooking spray. Grill peppers, covered with grill lid, 5 minutes on each side or until tender; arrange, cut sides up, on a serving platter. Whisk together 3 Tbsp. olive oil, 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar, and 1 Tbsp. brown sugar: drizzle over peppers. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese, 1/2 cup loosely packed torn fresh basil leaves, and salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Makes 4 t0 6 servings.
Second Segment: Fall Decor 2011
You have to love these cooler temperatures. Along with cooler days come the thoughts of fall and therefore fall decorating. Chris will show you what's new this year in fall decorating. From fresh new decorations to simple autumn gifts, you saw it here first on Today's THV.
