Chris Olsen from Botanica Gardens always has great advice on home and gardening projects.

First Segment: Pumpkin Centerpieces
Whether a gift for yourself or for someone special,  create your own smashing pumpkin arrangement. This idea can be applied to not only large pumpkins but small pumpkins as well. Just selected flowers and foliage from you yard, cut the top and hollow out a pumpkin, and then divide your flowers by color and arranged. Make sure you stuff the pumpkin with wet oasis foam (find at craft or floral store). This arrangement should last for about 1 week.

Second Segment: Ghostly Buckets
Here is a great project to do with your kids. Just go to your local hardware store and buy a new empty paint can. You can find these in the galvanized bucket section. Then spray paint the inside and outside with a Halloween color. Now just buy Halloween stickers and place them on the outside. Kids love this project...the special little monsters in your life will now have the perfect container with a handle to gather their treats.
