Chris Olsen from Botanica Gardens always has great advice on home and gardening projects.

First Segment: Stack Them
Use pumpkins as pedestal and serving pieces on your buffet.

Materials:
Heirloom pumpkins with flat tops
Small saw
Serving pieces

If necessary, remove the pumpkin stems with a small saw.  Balance plates and trays on flat tops of pumpkins.  Choose from both tall and squatty pumpkins for a variety of heights.

Second Segment: Haunting Pumpkins
Create a spooky display with your pumpkins this year. Take a pot or urn and fill with potting soil. Then place layer if Spanish moss on top of the soil. Make sure that the moss over hangs the rim of the pot. Thank use white ghost pumpkins and some pumpkins spray painted black. Spray some over sized silk leave silver and mix those in. Now you have one awesome container with a spook look. Happy Halloween!
