Anthony Michael cooks up pork roast

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- There's nothing like a hot meal on a cold day. That's why Anthony Michael from Cross-Eyed Pig is showing off his fabulous recipe for pork roast.

Ingredients
6-7 lb. trimmed Picnic Butt
Cavenders garlic powder
Black pepper
Roasting Pan
Gravy
Rice or Potatoes

Directions
Coat picnic butt with garlic powder. Sprinkle black pepper on. Then, wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place in roasting pan and cook for 4 ½ hours at 300 degrees. After cooking, pour 3-4 cups of gravy over the top. Make sure it is covered with gravy. Put back in the oven for 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Once finished, you can serve over rice or potatoes. Mushrooms are optional.
