LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV/Arkansas Business) - Two years ago, UAMS purchased 11.3 acres in west Little Rock, with the plan to build a new clinic. Now, the project is in limbo.
Arkansas Business publisher Jeff Hankins stopped by the THV Information Center to give insight as to what's keeping the project from moving forward.
Hankins tells Today's THV that the dispute involves UAMS, Pulaski County, and Army Corps of Engineers. He says the plan was to build the clinic to offer ambulatory surgery, and maybe even long-term care and hospice.
