First and foremost, Santa and one of his special helpers is here! Also joining them is David Hawks representing Landers Toad Suck Harley Davidson and Steve "Painter" Polk to talk about the Toy Run.
Bikers will gather for the 11th annual Conway Regional Toy Run at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Landers Toad Suck Harley Davidson, 1110 Collier Drive off Museum Road in Conway.
At noon that day, with Santa in the lead, a caravan of motorcycles, trikes and cages (cars) will leave the dealership for the hospital, where they will deliver the toys.
The Toy Run, which provides a variety of toys for children who are patients in the Pediatrics Unit at Conway Regional, is expected to draw bikers from throughout Arkansas and surrounding states to Conway. The run is no longer motorcycles, only. Individuals are invited to drive cars or trucks. The only requirement is to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child or youth three to 16 years of age.
