LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Parents at a school in Connecticut are fighting with school officials to change the schools way of dealing with so-called problem children.
The school has created an isolated room with concrete walls in order to confine students who behave poorly. Parents and students have heard the screams of children from the room and ambulances have even been called.
Parents are irate after hearing that their child may be witnessing these acts on a daily basis and say their children come home crying regularly. The scream room was originally created for children with special needs.
Would you leave your child in a school that had scream rooms? Is this an appropriate way to deal with children who have behavior problems?
