UNDATED (CNN) -- It's a sad day for Star Wars fans hoping for another adventure and Mark Wahlberg may play an action hero in the movies but claiming to be one in real life might be a stretch.

Legendary film maker George Lucas says he's ready to retire. The man behind the hit franchises Star Wars and Indiana Jones tells the New York Times he's calling it quits with big blockbusters, but he isn't renouncing show biz altogether.

Lucas has just finished a big budget biopic on the Tuskegee Airmen and wants to focus his movie making magic on less commercial films.

Actor Mark Wahlberg is backpedalling on comments he made in a Men's Journal interview. In the February issue, the star claims that he could have prevented a plane from crashing into the Twin Towers if he were on the flight saying, "There would have been a lot of blood and that he would have told the passengers not to worry, they'd land safely."

Wahlberg has issued a statement apologizing for the comments calling them irresponsible and insensitive to the victim's families.

And for the first time in seven years, the Grammy Awards will have an official host. Rapper and Grammy winner LL Cool J has agreed to host and is very excited about the opportunity.
