LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (January 31, 2012) - Established in 2000 by LUNA, the makers of the Whole Nutrition Bar for Women,  LUNAFEST connects women, their stories and their causes through film.

This traveling film festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny and thought-provoking themes.

Since its inception, LUNAFEST has grown from a single annual event to a coast-to-coast force with more than 150 North American screenings each season. To date, 92 filmmakers have been featured, nearly $1.2 million dollars has been raised and thousands of attendees have come away moved, entertained and inspired.

LUNAFEST will be making a stop in Little Rock on Thursday, February 9 at 7 p.m. at the Riverdale 10, located at 2600 Cantrell Road. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door or $40 for two tickets.

LUNAFEST Little Rock will feature a silent auction. Eighty-five percent of net profits from LUNAFEST Little Rock will benefit the Women's Foundation of Arkansas. The remaining fifteen percent will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund, LUNA's primary cause partner.
