WALLINGFORD, CT (CNN) -- A hungry patron offered a side of music with his request for cheese fries; now, the singing fast-food order is a web sensation.

In the midst of a chaotic Tuesday night at the Wallingford Sonic there was harmony in stall number six. Starving artist Giorgio Fareira brought more than his appetite. With guitar in hand and fast food on the mind, Giorgio decided to serenade his Sonic server; the video has gone viral in short order.

Now over half a million hits and counting, he says this just happened. Good for his new band Interstate Life. He says, "Not planned at all, kinda like the song I'm playing just making it up."

So now of course the idea is for Giorgio to take this from the Sonic stall to the big stage. Giorgio, who works at Starbucks for now, hasn't missed a beat since his new found fame.

He says he's still the same. He says, "I'm kinda still just Giorgio, people apparently like my name. that works because this is kind of a strange for a black guy to be named Giorgio, I'll admit that. I can't believe it. I didn't think it would go this far."
