LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 26, 2012) - Join friends and supporters of Our House for a southern-style supper at sunset, with libations and live entertainment by Lagniappe in a beautiful garden setting.

'Dinner on the Grounds' will be held Friday, May 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Governor's Mansion. Tickets are $150 with all proceeds going to Our House.

Our House provides the working homeless - individuals and families - with shelter, housing, job training, education, free childcare and summer youth programs, in order to equip them with the skills to be successful in the workforce, the community and their own families.

"It's a place to families and individuals to stay and work," says Co-Chair Susan Brown. "They have to work while they are there. They have training, they can give them the skills they need to go find a job. The goal is to get people back on their feet."

Services include parenting classes, addiction recovery groups, counseling, and job search assistance.

For more information about the event, contact Manon Jacob at 501-374-7383.
