LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- It happened December 6, 2001 in the 2700 block of Marshall in Little Rock.
Officer Bruce Jones with the Little Rock Police Department joins us on "Today's THV at 6" to talk about this Capital City Cold Case.
Officer Jones says 19-year-old Michael Banks was found shot to death inside a car that was on fire. A witness noticed the car, then shortly afterwards noticed it was on fire. The witness tried to put the fire out and authorities were called.
That's when Officer Jones says they found Banks in the front passenger seat with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. The car was a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu.
