LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A 5-year-old girl is safe after allegedly being taken at gunpoint.
According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department, at 9:41 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1923 S. Main to a possible kidnapping.
Once there, they learned that a 5-year-old girl had been taken at gunpoint by her biological mother, Tabitha Keys, and her mother's boyfriend Leshaun Gray.
It was reported that the mother's boyfriend pointed a weapon at the child's guardian while the mother took the child. The suspects left the area in a 1995 black Nissan Maxima. The guardian was also robbed of her purse during the incident.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., a Morgan Nick Amber Alert was being initiated when officers learned of a possible location of the suspects and the child. The child and both suspects were located at a house in the 3200 block of Martin Luther King. The residence is that of the mother's sister.
A SWAT call was initiated, the suspects were taken into custody without further incident, and the child was recovered.
Gray and Keys are being held on multiple charges including aggravated robbery and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Police also say Keys has outstanding warrants of burglary, theft of property and probation revocation.
