    Jason's Deli shares healthy menu itmes for dining out

    Little Rock, Ark. (KTHV) -- When it comes to eating out, it's easy to slip away from the diet and indulge. But you can still keep up those healthy eating habits when eating out.

    Teresa Whitley, Director of Catering for Jason's Deli, joined us Saturday morning to talk about some healthier options from their menu.

    The Mediterranean Wrap is a low carb wheat wrap with turkey breast, hummus, cucumbers, red onions kalamata olives, roma tomatoes, and field greens. The Nutty Mixed Up Salad contains organic field greens, grapes, chicken breasts, nuts, cranberries, raisins and feta cheese. The Garden Pasta comes with organic spinach, oven roasted tomatoes, portabella mushrooms, and artichokes served over bowtie pasta.

    Jason's Deli serves as few processed ingredients as possible. The salad bar has more than 60 items, many of which are organic options. The food as Jason's Deli contains no artificial trans fats, no MSG, and no artificial dyes.
