Truman Baker Lake was built by the highway department during excavation for the U-S Highway 71 bypass around Waldron. The 15 acre lake is named after a former state highway commissioner and is an ideal spot to take kids fishing for bluegills, channel catfish and largemouth bass.

One little guy who likes to fish is Ethan. He went recently with his Pawpaw to Crystal Springs, Lake Ouachita. Ethan let his Pawpaw say "he caught it" but we all know who the real fisherman is.

9-year-old Colby Malone caught a nice catfish while fishing with his dad and sisters at the city park in Guy. And Colby's 8-year-old sister Artavia reeled in a nearly 7 1/2 pound catfish. It was a fun family day.

And since the theme of this is kids. Liz, of course, has to show her little guy, Cruz. He recently went to the Little Red with his grandparents and was very excited when his grandpa reeled in a trout.
