LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Back in August, Mary Croft reeled in a monster brown trout on the Little Red River in the Swinging Bridge Area. It weighed nearly 10 pounds and was 27 inches long.
And 10-year-old Luke Staton, his Granddaddy Bill James and their friend Larry fished Lake Ouachita and caught 9 fish weighing more than 200 pounds.
Luke caught the first and biggest fish. It weighed 43 pounds and was 42 inches long.
